Women Power Fashion Sweatshop
Extreme overtime, unsafe situations and poverty wages are still a reality for the women who make our clothes. Under the name ‘Women Power Fashion’, the Dutch Clean Clothes Campaign and Mama Cash organised a pop-up sweatshop for one week in the center of The Hague to point out the working conditions of these women.
Zeppa was in charge of the design: a sea container was transformed into a sweatshop where volunteers sewed ties and with an interactive game the public could influence the working conditions. Also, an ‘Home Based Worker Starters Kit’ was launched.
The design of the container continues in line with the previously designed Women Power Fashion campaign
